COMPLAINT PROCEDURES

At Sean C. Lucas, PLLC, your satisfaction and trust matter to us. We hold ourselves to high professional and ethical standards, and if something isn't meeting your expectations, we want to hear about it and make it right.

Step 1 — Talk to Us First

Most concerns are resolved quickly with a simple conversation. If you have a question or concern about your matter, your bill, or the service you've received, please contact Sean C. Lucas directly at 888-305-4367 or support@sclucaslaw.com. We aim to acknowledge your concern within three (3) business days and to work with you toward a resolution.

Step 2 — Put It in Writing

If a conversation doesn't fully resolve things, you may submit your concern in writing to Sean C. Lucas, PLLC, 3604 Owls Nest Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19807, or by email to support@sclucaslaw.com. Please describe what happened and how you'd like it resolved. We will review your written complaint, respond substantively, and, where appropriate, propose a resolution.

Fee Disputes

If your concern is specifically about legal fees or costs, fee-arbitration programs may be available through the relevant state bar. We are glad to point you to the appropriate program and to participate in good faith where it applies.

Your Right to Contact the Bar

Raising a concern with us will never affect the quality or diligence of your representation. You always have the right to contact the attorney-regulation authority in the applicable state:

Delaware — Office of Disciplinary Counsel, Supreme Court of Delaware. Complaints are submitted in writing, preferably electronically. For assistance or to request a complaint form, call (302) 651-3931. More information: courts.delaware.gov/odc.

Florida — The Florida Bar, Attorney/Consumer Assistance Program (ACAP). ACAP helps consumers with questions or concerns about a lawyer's conduct. Toll-free: (866) 352-0707. More information: floridabar.org/public/acap.

New York — Attorney Grievance Committee. Complaints are filed in writing with the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Appellate Division department having jurisdiction over the county where the attorney maintains an office. There is no fee to file. More information: nycourts.gov/attorneys/grievance.

We would genuinely prefer the chance to address any concern directly first — but we respect your right to these resources at any time.
